Satisfy your inner adventurer and join us for a remote campout, diving the waters around Fox Island, Alaska. Prepare yourself for a rugged diving expedition to the last frontier.
This trip is a far cry from the warm waters and conveniences of traditional dive trips. Only those with cold water diving experience and comfort with remote dispersed camping should consider this diving adventure.
We will embark on a scenic train ride from Anchorage to Seward where we will board passing beautiful vistas of southern Alaska’s beauty. Upon arrival in Seward, we will load our equipment on a ferry to Fox Island. Upon our arrival on Fox Island. After building camp, divers are free to go for a late afternoon shore dive or explore the island. Evenings will be spent around a campfire cooking and staying warm. The next day would start with an opportunity to dive from a boat in the more remote parts of the island. The diving around Fox Island is spectacular. The water is cold and nutrient-rich, diluted by glacial melt, visibility can be low but life is abundant. You can expect to see jellyfish, sea lions, wolf eels, sea stars, salmon, and more! Surfacing from a dive surrounded by Alaskan wilderness and glaciers is truly amazing.
At the conclusion of our camping adventure, we will return to Seward and visit the Seward Sealife Center before our return to Anchorage. A final night in a warm bed awaits before managing the remainder of our equipment and returning home.

Thanks to the late days we can do plenty of relaxing, have dinner and still do another dive before it’s even dark!
